Aug. 5th 1990 First marriage: Eddie Moore (No information on) Second Marriage: Willie Walker (No information)   Children Lila Mae Moore (b. 1920) Susie Mae Moore (b. 1921) Eleese Moore (b. 1923) Edna Moore (b.  Sept. 1, 1925 in GA)   Children of Gracie and Willie Walker Samuel Walker (b. 1928 in Naylor, GA)   We seem to have some connection to James Winn (b1841, GA-Slave of Abial Winn) Note: 2/19/2008   The Winn name came from the name of a white slave owner named Abial Winn. He owned both James and Lenah, which I have concern to believe their last name was or is Young. During the slave era slaves took the last name of their owner. This is what breaks our family up and causes confusion. I found out that they moved to Naylor, GA somewhere during the time period of 1910 and 1920. Reason to believe this is because, William Young is Susan Youngs brother and he was settled and living with his wife and Children in Naylor, GA.. At this time I cannot find the household that Susan and William lived in growing up together, which would blend the connection between the Winn’s and Young’s, which are believed to be the same people. Noted reasoning for this, my Aunt Jan Benjamin Vega gave me a list of the cousins on March 12 2007, which I later found that the kids  through research, belonged to William Young, located on the census of 1920 and 1930, for Naylor, GA.   Below is William Young’s wife and kids…   William Young (b. 1886, SC) Marriage: Essie Mae Young (b. 1890 GA) Kids: Ernest Young (b. 1911, GA)           Mattie B. Young (b. 1912, GA)           Benjamin “bennie” Young (b. 1913, GA)           Alma Young (b. 1916, GA)           Willie B. 3. I stopped the speake page because the site started charging to have the site. So because of that I can know longer get on the site myself. Most of the people that were on that site didn't do much research most of the info was put on by myself. If I understand right the research you are doing is on Samuel who was from a slave family? This is very interesting because I have never met anyone doing the research on a slave line. All the info on the Speake site and the Speake association don't have anyone doing research along this line, their families were all slave owners. I would be glade to try and help you and see what I can find They are just now starting to come out with slave records. It maybe hard to find info with out his parents name. He was never a slave so there would be no slave records on him but if we could find his father maybe he was a slave and we might be able to then trace them through the slave records. I'll see what I can find . Do you know where and when he died? hope to hear from you.
