This is for Steve I did a little research and found some info on your family I could not find anything on Peter’s father I am wondering if Peter was his middle name. I know a lot of my Speaks relative went by their middle name. I looked on the 1900 census and I don’t find him at all so I am wondering if he was under another name. I noticed on the 1910 and 1920 Calvin was listed by his middle name Henry and on the 1930 census he is listed as Calvin. You should see if you can find out where Peter died and get a copy of his death certificate and see if it has his parents names are there. Peter was a farmer he and his parents were born in Mississippi. His wife Annie and her parents were also born in Mississippi. All of their children were born Mississippi. Peter and Annie married in abt.1905 it said they had been married 5 years on the 1910 census. The biggest problem is on every census he is listed with a different age. 1910 his age is 29, 1920 his age is 33, 1930, age is 45. The same with Annie, 1910 age is 25, 1920 age is 33, 1930 age is 42. all the census are in Yazoo County, Mississippi. The township was Fugate.
