Hi, so was Dorcas Balch Wyly of Tennessee and the wife of Cassius Clay of Kentucky, Russian ambassador and brother to Henry Clay Henry and John C. Calhoun bougtht the Habersham County Iron works and foundry from Gen. (Ga. Militia) wyly and sons. Mrs. Clay endured one Russian winter and came hime. A few years later, Cassius returned to Kentucky with a picture of a dead Russian Balerina and a 2 year old Russian son, she moved to Luiisville.
