The book "Military records of Kansas Regiments" contains many records of events that happened in AR. One of the records relates how the 14th Kansas Calvary killed two confederate "guerrillas" in Searcy County. One of them happened to be my great, great grandfather Lemuel Holsted. The records are quite detailed and contain many names. I don't happen to know the author but you should be able to locate in by title. Judy
