Hi Southern Trailers! This is somewhat off topic, but I need the input of so many knowledgeable history experts..lol.. I'm trying to determine at what year parents would have begun to name their sons for George Washington and would there have been any reason before the American Revolution for him to be known to the population, and therefore become a namesake? And it that respect, what would have been the earliest year his name would have become known? And I too, enjoy the stories, so please don't stop.
