There are two genealogy programs that I know of that you can download for free. The first one and the best is PAF (Personal Ancestral File) available through the Latter-Day Saints website. www.familysearch.org It is the most versatile and the easiest to use. Just click on the software/downloads tab and go from there. You can download the version that is right for your computer. Sandy, I have Family Tree Maker ver 8. I like it allot but recently downloaded the free version of Legacy. It's pretty good and can be downloaded to my handheld computer.
