Tupulo is the birthplace of Elvis. One of the wonderful things about the trace is the 50 mph speed limit, and the fact that no trucks or commercial vehicles are allowed to drive on it. This makes for a wonderful leisurely drive through beautiful country. A couple of the Judds have farms not too many miles from the northern end of the Trace. There are many, many scenic and historical sites, restrooms and picnic tables scattered up and down the drive. It was a fun and restful time for us. We have driven all the way to Natchez only once, but hope to make that drive again soon. La Darla in Texas
