Cornell University Making of America Collection This is a set of primary documents (magazines and other texts) that have been scanned in for your use. One of the wonderful pieces for me is the Official Records of the War of the Rebellion, which is a multivolume work compiling both Union and Confederate records from the civil war. This site is worth bookmarking and checking from time to time.
