Still looking for anyone with any information on a Powles family who had plantations in North or South Carolina... They had family who moved up to New York. Thanks. Sandy
Hello Sandy, Could the name be Powels? > Still looking for anyone with any information on a Powles family who had plantations in North or South Carolina... **I saw this name in a book at the NSG Library this past week-end. If you give me a name and date, I plan on visiting the library again this sunday, I will be happy to do a look up for you. I don't know if it is the family you are looking for but I remember the name Powels Point Plantation a John Northern stated that is were he lived in his will. **It is in a North Carolina County abstract and will books, either Nash, Caswell or Orange County. Those are the ones I was searching in for information on Powell farms/plantations. It was listed under Plantation. That was all the information I wrote down when I relized it was the wrong owner clan. > They had family who moved up to New York. **Sorry, This I don't know about. Quan
