If you are subscribed to the US Census Images online The Slave Schedules for 1850 & 1860 Census are available once you have selected State and County You will have the option of Townships/Districts or Slave Schedules if there is one available. The Slaves gender and age range in census records prior to 1850 were listed in the household which they lived in. There is a very interesting article UNRAVELLING THE 1850 & 1860 SLAVE SCHEDULES-By Spencer McCall http://www.webarchaeology.com/Html/slavschd.htm Ancestry Census Images Online (US) http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/usfedcen/main.htm U.S. Federal Census Indexes http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/ais/main.htm U.S. Federal Census Indexes - List of Databases http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/ais/censuslist.htm Hope this helps --MarieB
