    3. Marie, I have found using the Slave Schedule without the index is too painful. I found in the 1850 NC, Craven County, the images but no indexes. I located an Elizabeth Bigelow but it was after waiting for each image to show up and then enlarging each one. Are you using a process that is easier to view images? I'm going to go to the library and use the microfishe.
