Do you know the first name of the Sandefer who would have been the head of house in 1860. There are 53 pages of Slave Schedule for Winston Co. MS. They are somewhat easier to scan over for names of slaveholders than the free census and most times the writing is better :) I did find a listing for Sandifers in the 1850 Census for Winston Co. will include that below 1850 Winston Co.
