I have no idea where it was taken. I especially liked the picture because of the cow walking down the street. (Would any of us really wish to have lived back then?) At first, I actually thought I could see over a dozen people in it. But, after enlarging it and taking it out in the sun with a magnifying glass, I decided it was my imagination playing tricks on me. Maybe wishful thinking. I'd really like to know where this house is/was and more about it. I'm sure there are some good stories here. Thanks. Hi Ramona, Not a good picture it is to far away to see details, but the shape reminds me of a tobacco drying barn or a smokehouse. Quan Arnett,Brown,Dixon,Powell Henderson County Ky.

I have seen the Spradlin name but do not believe it is who I am looking for. No one in the family ever heard it pronounced that way, or have seen it spelled as such. We do know that Sprawling became 'Sproling' about 1880 when Stephen's son Harry, my grandfather, was born in Arkansas when a midwife, nurse or someone changed it.
Good Morning Everyone, A warm welcome to our Newest Members. I have Spradlin family information; but no Sprawling family information. Have you ever seen Stephen listed as a Spradlin in the census? Is anyone on our list researching the Sprawling family of LA.? Also is Charlston a surname?
