Does anyone know how gramma made candles? Also.... If I buy parafin wax at the grocery store, can I just melt that, drop in a wick and have a candle?? We don't use a lot of candles down here because it's already hotter than Hey-Ell but I would just like to make up something cheap. Has anyone tried soy wax? Soy wax does not have the same harmful affects as regular candle wax.
