    1. Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Doing too much!
    2. First let me say, I thoroughly enjoyed your nice letter, but...Ouch ! Yes, I think you did way too much for one day.....When we planted a little garden for Buzz we planted a small pkg. of purple podded beans...Picking them has convinced me I'm too old for bush beans...We plant half runners and pole beans on fences or wire circles..NO bending over ! Have recently harvested the beets, white multiplying onions and multicolored potatoes from the early plant bed and MAY plant some French green beans I have seed of...Can sit on my little garden roller deal and pick them....Have 2 circles planted to late half runner beans..now 2 or 3 foot tall.....and one circle to cukes...Just in time..the old vines are played out...They're always planted on a wire circle.....An elderly neighbor has some 'cages' piled out behind his shed , now that he can't garden anymore...Will take him some tomatoes and offer to buy the cages...I envy you those chickens, by the way.....have long considered getting a few banty's again...Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ On Fri, 18 Jul 2008 05:48:34 -0700 (PDT) Mary Clyde <searchingkin@yahoo.com> writes: > Hey Y'all, > Now I've gone and done it...
