Not our Nevada mountains. We can see them from our front yard but they look like huge brown rocks, no vegetation. They are pretty when snowcapped. I like the North Carolina hills/mountains with the pine trees and others. Nothing can be as mindboggling and awesome as the Swiss and Austrian Alps I wish I was much younger and could afford to live in Switzerland. I felt so peaceful and comfortable there, as if I had lived there before. Oh well, I might as well be content here as I won't be going anywhere else. My neighbors don't bother me, I seldom see or hear them No animals roaming around. I do have friends coming over now and then when they have time. I have seen the Rockies and been through most of the USA but something draws me to the big water. The heat here is, at times, unbearable - but still we stay put. We considered Texas in the Fort Worth area but that just seems way too far from EV-ree-thing to me. The mountains do sound inspiring and peaceful......but no dolphins...or manatees....or shells. I need to take a trip out west......soon as some $$$ drop out of the sky..... paulette in sw fla usa life is good, most of the time On 7/10/08, Belle Shepherd <belleshep@cox.net> wrote: > > Not our Nevada mountains.
