Hello All, For those of us who worked many years for good companies and earned good benefits,it is a bit easier but with prices rising almost 'hourly, how long will they we be able to get along? A few years back, I went in with my daughter and bought this home, don't have to be concerned about rent increases which have gone out of sight in this area. Property values are flucuating but the house has doubled in value since we bought it. We could use another room for our stuff but we manage. .I feel for those who can't even buy an extra can of beans or package of breads when they go shopping. This great country has a black mark against it for outrageous amounts of money spent on unnecsary things. If common sense had been used, there would be no need for anyone in this country to be hungry or homelss. Many had poor paying jobs and didn't stay on a job long enough to gain any benefits, so they have almost nothing to live on. I think that we are going to have a lot more 'soup kithens' around in the near future. I don't drive anymore so I don't have the insurance and gas and general upkeep of a vehicle. I don't need new clothes, I have a large closet full of all kinds of things that I no longer wear, much of it never worn.
