Hi Jennie T. I THINK WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME MUSHROOM.. These are tall and wavy (morels)... Around her some call them dry land fish, monkey doodles, and Hickory chickens=don`t know why... There is one green plant we get called crows foot because the leaf looks like a crows foot.. You probably know what I'm talking about. Some people mix them with bears lettuce, heat bacon grease and a little vinegar and pour over them --I do that with a head of lettuce from the store delicious!
