Hmmm... Never heard of that... makes sense though. I've been watching that moon for the past couple [or more] of days. I awoke about 3 am one morning and happened to look out the window to the west and there, to my surprise, was that beautiful yellow moon... I like to get my binoculars out and look for that man... :o) MaryClyde ----- Original Message ----- From: "LaDonna" <mcglocklin@webtv.net> To: <southern-chat@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 22, 2008 6:56 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] BIG MOON > According to ole Indian story the Big Moon we are having is a Worm Moon, > time for mother earth to thaw and worms to surface. > > LaDonna > ================== > JEREMIAH 33:3 > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > SOUTHERN-CHAT-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > --- > avast! Now Mary Clyde, I`ve been looking for that man for 47 year years.. Every once in a while I`d think I had found him.. Last one was George Clooney, I thought sure he was the man in the moon But no ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~I think I`m getting it old to wait for some one else to come alone... I know he is`nt like any of these young guys today, All of themssssss hair looks like they just got out of bed~~~that's not a new style, just look through the out hose cracks early in the morning, everywhere ! You`ll see plenty of those hair do`s.... Now if they don`t look like Sam Elliott (mushtash and sexy voice), Tom Sellick (chowing backer), Lieam Neison(tall and Scottish), George Clooney (eyes flash like black coal... Then they can`t be the man in the moon... My luck my man in the moon will look like a grass hopper and be about as big . And I`m tired and loanely setting here tonight writing foolish stuff to Mary Clyde... Nite, Nite I`ll be up to 4 AM. Hey Carol, I wasn't up till 4 am... but fixed my clock so it would go off at 6:30 am... forgot to flip the little switch though. Since I'm a late, and I do mean late, sleeper, I always set my clock when I want to arise. I woke up, and it was still dark, and I looked at the clock and it said 6:32 and man, you'd better believe that I hit the floor and jumped into the shower before I went to church. Yep, I've been looking for that man in the moon for years too! I also thought I had found him a few times...Never had too much luck with men though! But if it wasn't for them I guess I wouldn't have four wonderful children and all those grandchildren and greats too... Don't see too much of them though... there is so much to do and they don't have time for Grandma now... Oh well, we didn't see our grandmother's too often either. She lived in Florida and we were here in South Carolina. We did spend the summer with her though a couple of times. THAT I will never forget. She was such a sweet person and would do anything for us. Some cousins were there too and we would sleep on mats all over the house. We would go swimming just about every day in one of the many lakes around Orlando. I don't know how Grandma put up with all of those energetic kids for four or five weeks like she did. She must have had a lot more patience than I have. Take care...
