Yes, I collected them when we lived in California, also the Blue Chip ones, I have partially filled books of both. Over the years I got several usful items. Linens, cooking utensils, lamps and other items. Buying for our famly of five at many different stores gave me quite a few stamps of both kinds. I have several of the World War II ration stamp books. The grand kids say they are strange, yes, they are. The Government is going to need a new design the next time around.
