I think elected officials look down upon the taxpayers as so much scum..enablers....and not as humans, with bills to pay....It seems like they think it's alright to just treat us anyway they want to...like we have no rights....I can't even write this in a way that makes any sense.....We're so sick of the politics being shoved down our throats with no control on our part other than voting in a new crop of scavengers...I gotta get off here and go shopping...see how much everything has gone up in price since my last trip out......Shopping is getting much easier, have you noticed ? Nothing is affordable... Clarksville is being changed and LOTS of money spent on stuff we don't have to have...Hundred thou dollar fountain on a short little street downtown that's had it's power lines buried, etc, etc, etc, etc..A few million spent on sewer upgrades just so they can put in more houses in that one area...GEEZ! Build somewhere else !OR, buy one of the MANY houses sitting empty or foreclosed on and upgrade it to suit your needs. I think a bonus or something to allow new home builders to do that very thing would be great. SO many homes setting empty....Oh me, we'll never get out of this world alive !
