    3. I had friends that bought the 4-5 lb containers of peanut butter so I asked them if I could have the containers when they got empty. I kept dried beans in them. That way no bugs could get to them. We're having temps in the 60's during the day, down to the 40's at night so no chance of anything getting too hot. I'll start bringing the cans in a little at a time but I didn't see any hurry in doing so. I agree with you Stella... the trunk of my car gets too hot and some of the cans might burst. Then, it's gonna get COLD before much longer and they might freeze and burst. There's lots of room under a bed and if you cut a box about 1/3 of the way up you can put like things in rows and slide the box under the bed and that way when you pull it out you can see what's in there. If you have a double bed you can put boxes back to back from both sides of the bed. I need to get busy getting more canned "stuff" too. I try to keep about a half a case of chicken noodle and cream of chicken soup on hand all the time, Campbell's of course. Mixed together, one can of each, this is a delicious soup and I can eat from it for a couple of days! I've always been frugal and plan to continue. I bought quite a bit of rice a couple of months ago...I keep it in gallon jars that I kept when I was running a store. They held pickles, pigs feet, hot sausages, etc. I'm glad I kept them now! Didn't mean to be so long winded... Mary Clyde
