Hi Stella...... there is no snow down here but we are expecting the lowest ever for October temps. Got out my purple sockies and managed to find a pair of cotton gloves. You could cover your plant..... water it good first,,,,,,, then throw something over it.... paper bag..... old sheet. I haven't turned my heat on yet. My legs are wrapped so that helps keep me warm. I've pulled the afghan up a couple of times in the early morning but that's all. The other morning I started to pull it up and thought to myself I really don't need this after all. We're suppose to have rain come in this weekend but we've been dry all week.
