Mornin' carol and all....... I was saved at ten years old too, carol..... and I too was in with a group of other kids. I was the onliest one to commit myself to following Jesus and I just couldn't figger out why it was only me. Was thinking 'what's wrong with these kids. guess they can't hear what I'm hearin' . ' Anyhoo..... I went home and hid all that sunday afternoon for fear that MaKettle was gonna give me a good whuppin'. About supper time the preacher came by to have a chat with me ..... uh oh!! ......He assured me that I had nothing to fear from MaKettle on this ..... after all who could be mad at a kid for wanting to follow Jesus? Obviously he didn't know MaKettle very well!!! Me and PaKettle were baptized on the same day....... let me tell you when I came up out of that water there was glorious singin' in the heavens and I could hear it. How does that song go.......
