Hey...Paulette...it's a 'fer piece' up the East Coast to N.Y...then all across the nation to Oregon...lets get Lee and wife to meet us somewhere? We will go from here (Birmingham) Come on...I have left over chili...and other stuff to...I made way too much food, and they wouldn't take any with them, said too crowded.But boy, did they eat!! We got to bed at 2:30 or so this morning. It was wonderful...I think they invited every friend they saw at the game to come by!. I forget the kids have ice boxes of beverages. That's one thing I do not provide. Alcohol in any form. They have all gone now...I am lonely.... I had plenty of time after I wrote the email yesterday, to fix things, clean up all the mess...made dips,and cherry pie for today. (Scott's favorite)......the game was over at 5:30..it took them till 7:30 to walk to thier car,and get home, (normally a fifteen minute drive to the University) there was 93,000. at the game. ROLL TIDE!!! WE ARE NUMBER ONE IN THE NATION 6---0 --so far this year. The A P Poll had us second before yesterday's game...but the SEC has us number one!!1 Hope it holds.Yesterday's win wasn't so pretty, in the second half...our best player was injured,and out. But we won, 24 to 20. I will take a win any way, no matter how close. Alabama has had several national championships in it's history. I hoped some of you saw it on TV...was on CBS yesterday here. OK...sorry if I bored you...I am a sports fan from way back! S.
