Get some self rising White Lily flour, follow the recipe on the bag..I'm assuming there is a recipe...and you can't help but make GOOD biscuits! I wish I lived close enough to you..I'd be glad to show you how to make a great biscuit....I just dump in some shortening...now days lard and butter, cut with a pastry blender or squish up with my hands, then add milk to make a dough...Roll out, on a lightly floured board..or pat them out as I do..cut out, roll in melted butter and bake in a black pan at 400 degrees or till browned....
