Guess we'll have to meet at your place...my okra hasn't even bloomed yet...but is getting close....It's beautiful..red stalks and reddish tinged leaves...Having green beans for dinner, new peas and potatoes....fried squash....All from our garden ...all delicious ! Might make some cracklin cornbread......fattening or not....Iced tea's cooling in the fridge already........ Little white multiplying onions I set out last Fall are about ready to dig..Will spread them out in some of those tiered hanging wire baskets I lucked onto at a yard sale...and then put them in mesh onion bags I've been saving.....Will plant something in the onions place...more beans , maybe...Half runners, maybe Rattlesnakes....An elderly neighbor gave us 3 more big heavy duty tomato cages....The pintos we planted as a lark look like they're gonna be pole beans...anyone know ?
