Mornin' all..... boy oh boy.... guess we all share similar problems with family. What is odd to me is that I have begged my 81 year old dad to come live with us or even to come visit but no way. I understand that he doesn't want to move but he could easily afford a trip down....and since I now live above my sister, he could have a wonderful time with the both of us. I've been back up north several times but $$$ won't allow that now..... even went up and cleaned dad's backyard and scrubbed his house from top to bottom (ick ick). My brother lives with dad but is no help at all. My son called this morning (he lives in Miami), on his way to work. When son found out my sister was making biscuits / gravy he just couldn't stand it. He says he will take care of me "if and when" that becomes necessary BUT..... egads.... that might mean stickin' me in the closet. I suppose being in the closet won't be too bad if he leaves the door open.... paulette in sw fla usa just float me to sea on an iceberg Eskimo style.... wait a sec - we don't have ice down here...ahhhh, what the hey - just throw me to the sharks..... love and hugs to all xoxoxoxoxo....smoochies On Fri, Jun 6, 2008 at 11:36 PM, LaDonna <mcglocklin@webtv.net> wrote: > Carol, MaryClyde, Stella & Lee, > When I can no longer handle my problems I give them to my Father and > then I get to THINKING and first thing you know I'm trying to help him > solve the problem when I should just back up and listen.
