Paulette I saw that on the news yesterday. It was fresh tomatoes I use a vegetable wash that I bought at my Grandson's organic store...but my mother always washed every thing that she bought...with dawn dish detergent, and then rinsed well. I scrub all my veggies, including potatoes before peeling.I am afraid they have been sprayed. I hold every leaf under running water, of greens. My daughters buy the prepared Del Monte salad greens and dump it in a bowl...not this ole country gal. Stella

i`LL TELL YOU WHATS WRONG WITH ALL THESE TOMATO OUT BREAKS.... I have`nt found a fresh tomato in years... Every one you get here is scientifically altered... It look so red and beautiful and last for ever BUT when you cut it open its BLACK AS SIN !!! I have got some out of Mexico that taste like a natural tomato ... Funny how scientist think they can out do God and make tomatoes better--or is it they last long enough to sale more of them before you see they have ruined.. I bet the white house has fresh grown tomatoes... I feel kind madd today..
