does anyone know how to make the vinegar/sugar/whatever heated liquid that is poured over the lettuce to make the salad?? I have been just dying for a wilted lettuce salad.... Oh Momma!!!..... bought myself some Romaine lettuce...it's all washed up and ready to go but that's as far as I can go. Should I use Apple Cider Vinegar or is Malt Vinegar ok?? I think I remember that bacon grease is the starter..... would turkey bacon do??
