    1. Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Daddy...
    2. I've heard so many times of parents...mostly Mothers... that just don't like certain of their children...My own Mother butted heads with her oldest daughter and also her youngest . Older Sis was born with an attitude and died with it very much intact...I was always trying to die so it stands to reason Mom would dislike me, being so much trouble, but she and I got along fine.......I was clearly Daddy's favorite, maybe because he had to help Mama take care of me so much the winter I was 2 /3 and almost died from double pneumonia...after almost dying from colitis the summer before....He farmed, and winters were slow times..I was tiny, cute as a button, loved men, and was clearly Daddy's girl..Sis was belligerent, plump and healthy looking, etc. so got little attention.... Oldest brother Robert was a bookish, shy sort...beneath Daddy's rough as a cob respect...Mamas boy.. Upon talking with a woman who didn't like one of her daughter, I learned that she had the kids so close together and was in such poor health that she resented the child....knowing all the time it wasn't the kids fault....Have you ever tried to figure out your Mom's problem ? I firmly believe in re incarnation, and sometimes women have kids that are descended from an enemy in another life....Haven't you ever met someone that rubbed you the wrong way instantly...or someone you instantly liked ? Sometimes if parents are frustrated in their everyday life they take it out on the kids....Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ On Fri, 13 Jun 2008 15:52:59 -0400 "Mary R Mungo" <MRMungo@Comporium.net> writes: Daddy's been gone for 55 years and I still miss him so much. I NEVER felt like she loved me... don't remember ever getting a hug from her. ____________________________________________________________ Enter for Your Chance to WIN* The TotalBeauty.com Summer Spa Sweepstakes! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/JKFkuJi7UfiHpHkukkgQu09RyaVQeI1RURnuGWyFQM32FXPKhEyuao/

Drunk and/or crazy Ma walks in and blows her nose on her own nightgown.....honk honk snort....then just turns around and walks away. eeeewwwwww - -- - Well, so much for chips and dip! Let me tell you, I never ever put on socks without checking inside first!! Just never knew what might have come out of the old lady's nose and landed inside a sock!! And MaKettle never missed an opportunity to tell us how much better her life would have been without chittlins..... she was a meaner, fer shure. paulette in sw fla usa now ya know why I NEVER WEAR SOCKS!! hhahahahahaahehehehohoho........ p.s. I am always so happy to hear about parents that loved their children....a good thing On Wed, Jun 18, 2008 at 11:29 AM, <askgranny@juno.com> wrote: > I've heard so many times of parents...mostly Mothers... that just don't > like certain of their children...My own Mother butted heads with her > oldest daughter and also her youngest .
