I'm with you, I've often thought people could look a little more modest when they come to church. When I mentioned it to someone I was told "but at least they're in church". I'm glad they're there, yes, but I was brought up to wear my best to church and always look nice. I taught my kids the same way. My daughter taught her Sunday School that you wear accordingly as if you're going to meet the King, which you are. You wouldn't go to meet Queen Elizabeth looking like some people do.
