I know what you mean Jeannie T. When I got up yesterday the people on tv were advertising gifts for Father's day... The first thing I thought of was "I wish I had a Daddy" and the tears started pouring... my Daddy's been gone for 55 years and I still miss him so much. He was one of the best friends I ever had. For some reason my mother didn't like me... was always switching my skinny legs when I was a youngan... course, I probably needed it sometimes but not THAT much. I guess that's why I miss Daddy so much... he was a sweet, gentle man and a gentleman too... I NEVER felt like she loved me... don't remember ever getting a hug from her. When mama got old and couldn't do for herself I was the one who was here to take care of her and see that all of her needs were met. My sister was always her favotite and anybody could see it and it hurt so much... Hmmm... looks like I'm having another pityparty!!! Let's see what I can find to do to get over it...
