Mary C...I found out don't go get online aftr putting something on to cook...I mean to come in the bedroom just for a minute...to turn it on...but get absorbed in email...I sure have had the smoke before...I threw a pot out the door on the grass...it on fire...and had to open ever door, windows...turned on stove exhaust .ceiling fans...and the Ac thermostat on high!!! I hate that smell... But I do know...you have to do chocolate a few seconds then stir...it melts from bottom upjust like butter....did you ever put cold butter on something...stick it in the microwave...and watching it...it doesn't look melted...but your bread will be rubber! I contribute mine to old age lol But...this webby can sure take you away. Stella

I just put a smaller pan inside a larger one. Voila, a double boiler. Hi emma... I used to do that too now that you mentioned it...... nothin' fancy.
