We grew up, putting gas on fire ant hills.But there is an expensive bag of fire any killer at Lowe's(can't remember the name) that I bought for the last few years that I had my house.. One application was it...they were gone. I sold my house and yard...but had some little black ants here around flower beds last year.They sting if they touch you...and they make a red bump on me, that lasts a long tme..I have heard of feeding ant hills corn meal...etc...but it doesn't work on established ant hills.It has to be poison that they take down to that 'Queen Bee" You gotta get her, guys!.
