I'm reading how y'all take advantage of the local produce and why oh why didn't I ever think of buying and canning?? Sometimes I just amaze my own self with my own silliness. I can't do the freezer but I surely am able to can. We have a couple of farmers' markets where I could get some goodies. You guys are such an inspiration...... now I've got to get out and find a canning pot...... and *I think I saw one at WallyWorld and it was affordable. I did put baggies of strawberries in the freezer. It's ok to can corn, right? paulette in sw fla usa....
