Come on down,Emma, would thrill me to have you . These colored butterbeans, with sliced homegrown tomatoes, baby vidallias, and hot cornbread are hard to beat.I have enjoyed our local curb-market setup on the University of Al., grounds everry Thursday afternoon.I lost track of how much money I've spent...this stuff was high, but I do like it. One week, I spent 100.00 on fresh stuff. They had Chilton Co peaches, watermelons and cantaloupe, local blueberries, local, Ga., and Fl., strawberries...too so I have eaten my share of those now for months. Local blueberries are gone...have to get them in the store now. My fridge wouldn't hold it, like you said...and I just about have this freezer full. If they have the nice tomatoes Thursday, I plan to can some of them, and I need more squash.A local man raises the small sweet vidallias.(if I am not spelling that right..it's onons!)..I get about five lbs every other week. They are so good steamed on top of green beans, and of course in squash, and everything else! I cook for my brother too you know. Stella
