I sure am hoping someone on here has more knowledge than I have on this. Here's the deal...... I have found a relative: Elsberry G. Glover a private in the Missouri Home Guard, Ralls County. On April 18, 1862 records say he was "captured at home:" Under "remarks": sent to Cairo for Ex Apr 23 1862 see p. 175. The heading on the page says: Roll of Prisoners of War at Military Unreadable Alton Ill. Can anyone send me off in the right direction to find out any other info? Elsberry is still around in 1870 so he wasn't executed.... whew! paulette in sw fla usa where we're still getting rain from that pesky tropical storm...... gheeshe!!! glug glug glug
