I thought of you, during the bad weather in Chicago...I saw theair port delays and was prayng you were not in it...glad you are home...but I was thinking this morning...Poor thing...going to see Dad in horrible storms and coming home to a posible hurricane. Love you...be careful Stella
Stelllllllllla..... stella....... thanks for the thoughts .... at dad's it was 9;00 pm when the first siren went off......someone called to tell us about the tornado warning as the tree limbs were flying past the living room window. I secured what I could and that was it until midnight. I was still up and watchin' out the window at midnight when the 2nd siren sounded. Dad had fallen asleep and his snoring almost overwhelmed the sound of the siren....... no wonder I couldn't sleep!!! He slept plumb through the 2nd big blow and the power failure. All is well since we both survived..... although it was touch and go for him because I was one mere hair away from stuffin' my flashlight in his snore-hole!! paulette in sw fla usa....... never can find the duck tape when ya need it have put the water-wings on all four cats and the doggies are all excited about the prospect of being able to swim out the front door....
