When my grandchildren were younger, my son's family came to take me out to dinner. I said we could come back to my house for dessert as I had made a marionberry cobbler. My grkids wanted to know what a cobbler was. I told them a type of pie. When we got back to my home, I got the cobbler out and I think I had some ice cream to go with it. My grandson looked at it and asked where the pie was. I told him this was the pie, but it was a cobbler. He had never heard of a cobbler before. Now, this is my grdaughter's favorite dessert, a marionberry cobbler. Heat up a large can of crushed pineapple...Add 2 or even 3 eggs to the batter...It will have a custardy texture...and is VERY good....Most folks use canned peaches.....
