    3. mY inlaws just had cornbread and milk for supper too. They preferred buttermilk when they had it but would use sweet milk other times. A lot of times in the latter years, my husband would call tthem and tell his mother to put on a pan of cornbread, we were coming for supper. She would invaribly start warming up stuff out of the fridge for us to eat too, but John told her all he wanted was cornbread and milk.
