    3. Stella, I can't believe you've remembered that story. Somewhere along the way, I learned how to prune rose bushes, a lot of it by trial and error. If someone wants to plant a beautiful rose, plant "Double Delight". It starts out red with white unfolding inside, but it could fold out to all red, all on the same bush. It smells like a rose should too. Yeah, it has thorns but sometimes they're worth it. It is a hybrid tea rose. Go to google and type in it's name so get a lot of hits to see what it's like. I think it's beautiful.Emma > From: busmar1852@webtv.net > Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2011 12:06:24 -0600 > To: Southern-chat@rootsweb.com > Subject: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Spring Flowers > EMMA....I always think of you when it comes to rose > pruning.I recall your tale of cutting your Mother's rose bush so close > she thought you had killed it, but it came out with a bang!
