LaDonna..... you must have read my mind! I was just going to post and ask for some prices around the list. I see things edging up day by day. Gas here in SW Florida is $3.00 / gal for regular. Found a bargain at WallyWorld on 4 cans green beans/$2.00. Also same for Campbells Tomato soup and Chicken Noodle. That was a sale though. There are no canned goods here less than $1.00/can (or very close to that) and most are $1.25 and up. No better prices at Save-a-Lot or Big Lots either. Have to go out for deli meat today and will record some of the prices. Just read a good article then saw program on history channel - to be prepared for power failures. We may just be getting warned in a subtle way. If the price of gas keeps going up that means diesel fuel will go up. Diesel fuel goes up that means the price of moving food will go up. Price of moving food goes up then the price of food will go up.
