I've made these little homespun looking muslin angels for years, sold them by the dozens...But not for THAT amount of money! I just picked up a piece of muslin one night while looking for something else and decided to make up a few while I watched TV....Ended up making about 25.... Hubby is sick, so I teased him about slacking while I made something to sell..asked him if he was going to go stand on the street corner and sell them for me. He said 'yes'....TEASING of course....After I told him how much they were' selling for' he said it might be worth his while to do it.... I'm getting hubby's malady for my birthday, and Son's family has one that's even worse, so I'll be staying home this weekend, reading some of the plethora of paperbacks I got free at the library a few days ago....One's 74th birthday is scarcely something to be happy about, but getting a jump start on Son's power bill with the 50 dollar gift will make it memorable...Especially since a newspaper article today said the rates are going up for about the 5th or 6th time this year. TVA is no longer such cheap electricity...but probably cheaper than some....
