LOL, Jeannie T., You sound like you 'might' have another Danny on your hands. God help you if you do. I'm sure he was remorseful after he kicked the heck out of the heat pump, but he has to realize the consequences of what he does before he does it. Most likely all the drugs that his Mother was on when she was PG didn't help him one bit. I know Danny's Mother pulled the same stunt. She got caught by her parents twice in their house & she was escorted out the door. She moved into Chicago & her parents came to check on the children. My s-i-l said it was pitiful..it was winter & they had no heat in their place. Everyone was running around with no socks or shoes on. All Sue had was a pot of beans on the stove..that wouldn't have been so bad, except for the fact that the beans had sat there so long that they had mold on them. Those kids left that place that night with their Grandparents. They had planned on retiring in N.C. & when that time came, Sue had never come to check on her children so they took the kids with them. The two girls have families..but no husbands. I guess Danny, once he was let out of prison, he moved in with some girl. I'm sure it doesn't please their grandparents..but there is just so much they can do for them. Grandpa always loves the girl's babies when they bring them over. However, when they need to be changed or disciplined, then that's Rose's job. I feel sorry for Rose b/c she has always worked so hard & this does not seem to be any kind of decent retirement for her. She fell last year & broke her leg & it has never healed. The doctor had to make up some sort of a brace so that she could walk b/c she couldn't bend her knee. She has very bad tremors & can do just so much. My husband started having them soon after we were married. His are not as bad as his sisters. No one seems to know what causes them.
