    2. Nope...Getting old aint for sissies....and sometimes I wonder if I'm not just a little bit sissy! Heres hoping Buzz has an easier life than your nephew and his sisters....Buzz eventually did believe there wasn't a monster in the closet and was very sorry Papa had to work so hard to repair the heat duct...Thank God theres a maintenance man in the house! He was in there awhile ago working on the bathroom sink...happened to remember we had read that 3 Rolaids and a cup of white vinegar would unstop a sink. Well, it's fizzing away, and heres hoping by morning it will be cleared out. 3. Well, let's hope & pray that Buzz doesn't turn out that way either. I have often wondered how my s-i-l has put up with all that she has for all these years. I guess with her, it's her kin, so she figures that she is obligated to take care of the kids. My husband has always said that if he had become a parent, he knew one thing for sure..he wouldn't leave his kids with relatives b/c he might end up liking it & let's face it, just so long with a kid that isn't yours, gets rather old after awhile. I said that about getting old b/c it seems like for the last 10 yrs, I have done nothing but see doctors & then end up in hospitals. I see my orthopedic surgeon tomorrow & I have to admit, I'm not looking forward to it. I just went through 2 weeks of extreme pain. The only person who could see me was his PA, b/c my orthopedic surgeon was on vacation. I asked for pain pills & he refused to give me any b/c he had given me a cortisone shot. I'm sure he got tired of hearing from either my husband or myself b/c I was in so much pain. He finally sent me to our local hospital for a MRI on my knee. Turned out that I have a fractured knee cap. I think he felt rather foolish b/c the gal who is in charge of the office called my husband & asked if I would like to see the orthopedic surgeon when he got back from his vacation on Monday. Now I just hope he will return when he says he will. About a year ago I had broken my ankle & he was suppose to be back, but he never returned. I ended up going to another orthopedic surgeon here in town. She is no longer here in town. I have heard that she had a lot of lawsuits against her. Guess I was lucky when I went to her that she didn't mess my ankle up. ~J ----- Original Message ----- From: <askgranny@juno.com> To: <southern-chat@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 17, 2010 9:48 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Buzz is in trouble ! > Nope...Getting old aint for sissies....and sometimes I wonder if I'm not > just a little bit sissy!
