Oh you ole granny...... you know I am a mess and I'm sure some good entertainment for the neighbors. This apartment complex is next door to an assisted living facility (a really nice one too) which has three floors. One day I was out walking Goober and one of the elderly ladies from facility was taking a stroll. She stopped me to tell me she can "see" me from her third floor apartment. I swear I was afraid to ask exactly what does she see!! And one old guy and his dog will just come to a dead (no pun intended) stop when they see me. don't care how far away from them I may be, he will wait until I'm out of sight or have gone in before he goes about his way. Wonder are they waiting for the show to begin??!!! hehehaw..... If I could only convince my sister to move in here people would really be in for it. She reminds me of "Wheezer" in Steel Magnolias with way less clothes. I thought with those fire ants if I wore boots I'd be safe.....forget about it!! those ants must have little suction cups on their dirty little ant feet cuz they can go up the outside and down the inside in one kazillionth of a second!! And that's why one of my boots ended up in the pond...... time for java..... xoxoxox ~~~* ) ----- Original Message ----- From: askgranny@juno.com To: southern-chat@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, September 24, 2010 12:58:57 AM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] the gator in the pond fiasco LOL ! I don't know what to tell you about the fire ant bites, but if you ever decide to go through that again I will definitely buy a ticket to watch ! Have always been lucky enough to live where they don't have 'gators OR fire ants.
