Hubby is an entertainer...Almost completely retired now. Always part time because he put his family before his music...He plays lead guitar in the thumb style invented by his cousin Merle Travis, he sings, does comedy and wrote his first record. He did TV shows, a ton of radio, State Fairs,etc...made records, tapes, did Country Music shows with famous entertainers....like Dolly Parton, Bill Anderson, etc. etc. etc. He's retired now, but is planning to do one more show in KY where his folks live. His biggest drawback is not having anyone to play along with ...Me ? I can play the radio if I concentrate, but my Mom used to perform at Play Parties when she was young, and won several prizes...HER Mom played folk guitar..like Mom...Daddy couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, Mama said..so I guess that's another curse I inherited..along with several serious medical things...
