Wow!! I'm really impressed, Jeannie T.!! Didn't know your hubby did all those things. I had an Uncle who went to Hollywood to make it big..but he never did. Kind of sad b/c he really had high hopes. He died on a MGM lot while making a movie. My parents happened to be out there at that time & were contacted to come & get his body off the set. His wife, a beautiful gal, was a retired Zigfield Folley gal, had become a recluse over the years, so my parents were pretty much in charge of everything. Johnny didn't have to make a choice between his career & a family, b/c he & Dian never had any children. Dian was quite a bit older than he was, so we thought that might have something to do with it. How did you folks feel about all that flooding in Nashville? Especially the Grand Ole Oprey? That was so sad. I had been down there years ago during FanFair Week & we had taken a tour throughout the whole area. I just hope that the folks were able to get it back to what it used to be. We did attend a show at the Grand Ole Oprey. My husband seemed to know all the entertainers. However, he had listened to them on the radio while he was growing up. I know I am nosey, Jeannie T., but how many children do you have? I hear you talk about your son so much...but I'm sure there have to be more. I love your stories when you talk about your home in TN. You have a real gift when it comes to writing. I don't know whether you or *Paula* make me laugh the most. Actually, you make me laugh in a different way...so there is no comparison. Take care & have a great weekend!! We are going to some sort of Heritage Series at a church on Sunday night...the film is being documented by a guy with the last name of Barton. My mind is a blank when it comes to his first name. I just know I really enjoy him & am looking forward to hearing what he has to say about our Constitution. ~Jen in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: <askgranny@juno.com> To: <southern-chat@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 24, 2010 9:39 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Charlie Louvin fans ? > Hubby is an entertainer...Almost completely retired now.
