    3. Hell o o o o Shorty and all..... I was never short. Have been 5'7" since 5th grade and I sure was skinny. Boy oh boy, those were the days. I know a Belle Shepherd on here and Jeanne (askgranny) from KYFolklore. It sure is good to be on here. I talk with Paula a lot-I enjoy that-I am sure blessed with her friendship. One day a boyfriend called the house, at my parents, and he asked for Shorty-my daddy didn't like that but I don't mind. We had the flood-Ames, Iowa. we had a hard time finding a way out of Ames-and people had a hard time finding a way in. So we were in really bad shape. The Iowa State University basketball court was under water-that was so sad to see. We are doing okay-water has gone down. We did have to boil our water for a couple of days. 3. Hi *Paula*!! Sounds like me. I was always skinny. I was a bit taller..5'8". Then with age, I have lost 2 inches. And of course with age, weight is so easy to put on. When we were dancing 5 times or more per week, I was nice & slim. I even had a 23" waist. That wasn't that long ago either. :-( ~Jen in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: "*paula* SW FlaUSA" <freckletoes@comcast.net> To: <southern-chat@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 30, 2010 6:18 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] re The welcome wagon/shorty/skinny > Hell o o o o Shorty and all.....
